Where do we go when the Oil is gone.

    With the price of oil now at $143 a barrel and climbing. What is the out look for a return to normal?
    Well, about as much as the Dodo bird has of becoming non exstinct and that is not very unlikely. So many believe that it is the opposite of this and we can return to the days of $25 dollar a barrel Oil, and gas under $1.00 per gallon. Oh if only that where true.
   The amount of oil on this planet is not infinite  ∞ , no matter who tells you different. And at this point in time, the vast majority of it, resides outside the continental US. So I guess its alright, to blame everybody else for playing our business game by our rules and now winning at it. Which angers us and makes us feel helpless. Not a good feeling is it.
   We can over come this obstical, yet we have chosen not to so far. Why is that I wonder? Is it arogance, stupidity, the rash indifferance to nolonger being in self control over our future. What?
   Since the discovery of Crude Oil in the early 1800s, most of our oil came from natural ponds of surface oil, or tar pits. We also derived oils from plants and animals. It was not until the advent of the Industrial Revolution that the full scale production of oil was even tought to be worth while. Why? Costs.
   It was more economical to continue on getting oils from animals such as whales and cattle, which are slaughtered for meat, hides and bone. Along with the free surface tar deposits, very little if any out of pocket cost was involved.
   But soom engines became more sofisticated and required better types of oils, which would last longer and protected better. The true culprit for this need, heat from friction and speed. So Oil became profitable to drill for and boy did we drill. From the late 1800s to the earlist 1900s, we drilled oil wells all over the Southwest and western PA, WV and eastern Ohio. We drilled so many holes that it was said, the southwest United States sounded like an organ when the winds blew. And we sold it to every one for pennies a gallon. Yes Pennies, 3-5¢ a gallon, and not just at home, abroad as well. We or rather the major oil investors, like Rockefeller, Hunts and the others made Billions of dollars from its sales and wasted thousands if not millions of gallons on the ground. Billions of dollars from pennies on the gallon. So a barrel has 42 US Gal. in it, you figure the cost of a barrel and then figure about how many barrels we produced in a year, etc.
   Now I am not going to give you a history lesson on Oil, but for almost 200 years now we have been dependent on the production of Crude Oil and its derivatives. Kerosine, Diesel, lubricants, medical glycerides, solvents etc., and do any of you wonder how long will we continue to need these items to survive.
   Well alot longer than we will need to drive our cars.
   So what is the scare to developement of new, replenishable and abundent fuel source to power us along for the next 200 years or longer? Costs, knowledge or both? Most monopolies have been based on the fact, that they have it and you need it. Our trouble is we no longer have it, or rather enough of it, to monopolize the market and thus are placed as dependent on it.
   If we where to get involved today in a global conflict and our supply of oil from the middle East was cut off for more than 180 days, we would run dry and come to a halt. Military needs would have everyone of us walking to and from work, if we had jobs to go to. Need for fuel would be broken down as need demanded, so Military, wealthy, Congress, Farmers, Medical, factories, Transportation, Civil Defense, local law enforcement, fire emergency and then general population.
   So let us ask if we have the know how? I believe we do no matter how poorly we place against Asian students, or other nations. For we have one of the best higher educational unstitutions in the world, we have the largest pool of skilled labourers at this time, we have willing and capable workers to do the job and we have the desire to be number one in the world. Ford created Job One but we all should strive for it.
   Well then if it is not the knowledge, then it has to be the costs that are keeping us from doing it. But why would the cost of a new endeavor be prohibitive to refining or finding a new source of energy for transportation. Greedy lack of interest in helping some one other than themselves.
   On this server, Townhall.com, there has been debates and aurguements as to why should or shouldn't we copy laws or means of doing things from Europe. Well for one, we copied the industrial revolution from them, but I would be off the subject if I went on further, and another was self importance. That self importance lead to being overly thrifty in their financing of new inventions or ideas. Saying why bother with new when the old has worked so well in the past and we have continued to profit by it. This attituted of self importance lead to the destruction of Englands leadership in the world of manufacturing and invention. It was not from their lack of  knowledge.
   Here is an example of what I mean. In the 1920s and 30's, aviation was in its infancy, yet while we played with bi planes and tri motored propeller aircraft. In Europe the race had already begun on the Jet aircraft engine. Yes Jet engines, where being built and designed in europe in the late 1920's and early thirties. Frank Whittle, perfected the first functional jet engine in 1936 in England, but a German named Hans von Ohain actually got his into an aircraft and flew it.
   This lead to the rumors of the Nazi master race and England being unprepared for war. In reallity she would have been prepared for war, had she not been so cheap mentally not to see the future. We stand in that same spot here in America. Before us lays the future and behind us is our dependance on foreign Oil. Which way shall we decide to go, forward on to the future or backwards to the same old same old and possibly not be ready for the next challenge. For if we had not aided England after Frances fall in 1940, WWII would surely had lasted longer and cost more lives than we can immagine. It may have ended differently altogether.
   I know that we can build far better fuel efficient cars than before, and better than or equal to the Japanese and Germans. I own a 2008 Ford Escape V6 XLT FWD. I get 23 mpg intown and 27 mpg highway so far, I have only owned it two months. That is a mega leap since the 2000 Ford Ranger I bought and get 24 highway and 20 intown with a 4 cyl. Automatic.
   So why not build one that gets 4o mpg highway and 30 mpg intown, we can if we try. And for hydrogen fuel cells, if these are so expensive to make and the process is so costly. Why haven't the stories of cars running on water not been desproven or labeled as bunk.
   We need new thinkers and shakers in government also, ones that will push for new incentives to build better cars, better fuel efficent motors and electric power plants. Not so much tax breaks but Government supports on imports tarrifs and restiction on quanities.
   Now for some, this will fly over their head like a spacecraft traveling at the speed of light. But for every dollar that the price of a barrel of oil rises, the cost of imports rise also. Making American made goods more favorable of a buy to those that would sell us out for lower prices. I know that I've heard and read how they bought this Nissan, or Toyota, or Honda, or KIA for so much less. Well Honda has stopped building its Ridgeliner, and is reengineering its Pilot, both with dismal 16 mpg in town and 20 highway, and a ride like, well a truck.
   So America are you going to be another whiner and clamourer for lets drill till it hurts everywhere. Or are you going to be a, I wont take it anymore Mr. well off CEO and I demand a better life out of this country and you for my work. If you ship my job overseas I will not buy your goods, if you bring in foreign workers because they are better schooled. I want my government to rework the education of my children for the future. I am tired of being the bottom of the pile. And if that does not please you, I will start my own business and but you out of a job.

Gun Laws Vs the Rights of Citizens

   I was really hoping to be first on this subject, but unfortunately my server decided not to work during a passing thunderstorm, was the wiser thing to do. But I will perserver and go on with it.
   Yesterday, June 26th, 2008, is a day worth noting on the calender of every good American, Republican or Democrat, who thinks his rights to defend his family and home where violated by the DC law.
   As many of you know, the DC law forbade homeowners and gun owners in general, from protecting their properties or lives. By makeing it manditory to either, A: Purchase a trigger lock for the weapon and use it. Which makes it difficult to protect yourself with, or B: Keep the weapon dismantled and , `AND,' sealed in a box or tin or locker. Now that really makes it impossible to defend yourself.
   So who do you suppose passed into law, this perticular one 32 years ago?  Well in 1979,  Jimmey Carter was POTUS, Democrats controlled Congress, Washington DC was 40% Black and the Drug trade was running amuck.

   Well, it seems in 1979, that they were not killing themselves, only 0.02%. But 29.32% of their homes where being victimized, 1.61% where being beaten and robbed, but of those violent crimes 65.57% where robberies. 0.14% of the women were being raped.

   So it looks, statistically that as the population dropped 74,470, and the index shrank by 39.46%, violent acts dropped 17%, Property damages dropped by 41%, Murders where down to 0.5% and rapes were 0.54%. Basically everything is down correct.
   Let us look at it another way. For the city of DC, 2006 saw crime as 5.88% overall rate, of which, 25.68% was violent and 79.21% was Property damage. Of the Violent crimes, only 1.93% was murder and 2.11%. Now in the first and upper diagnosis I left out these because they perplex me as to why the seperate catgories.
   Robbery and Aggrevated Assaults are listed as sub-catagories of Violent crimes. It must be that during your robbery you where not raped, murdered or had the crap beat out of you and while being assaulted you where not raped, robbed or murdered. Just felt like you had been, and be ever so thankful this did not happen while you where at home because you'd now be in a new category.
   So robberies were 11.21% of all indexes, and assaults were 13.43%. But now since I believe that all roberies and assaults especially are violent crimes, I get robberies at 43.65% and assaults are now 52.31%. The last two catagories are car thefts and petty theft. So what else is there, well what about burglary. Apparently only the victim believes haveing your home burgaled is a violent crime. Apparently, most judicial, prosecutural, advocates and arresting officers see it, as a victimless crime. What was taken, oh your personal valueable belongings, just things you can replace.
   Just things, like was Uncle Harry's gold pocket watch from 1898, that had an inscription and still worked like new, just a thing to you. How about the Diamond ring that you scrimpt for months to save for, to give your wife or mother on a special occasion. This is just stuff also.
   Maybe the really tragedy is the loss of your self seteem, your feeling of safety from harm, the fear that it happened once it can happen again. Do you feel vulnerable or safe in your home? Scared? Angry? All of them and more. Who do you look to protect you now, not the police. They are sorry but they have bigger crimes to solve, like crack, drugs and murders.
   All financed by your stolen items of no, or little worth to them, but to you everything.
   Repeeling handgun ownership and rifle ownership has done nothing to stop violent crimes, nor have they increased it. Stataticians, who manipulate the figures, Catigorize events to make or break the formula and then puplish their findings only to incite termoil and fear are the culprits to crime.
   If laws where passed in favor of the average citizen instead of against them, crime would drop. violent life taking crimes might rise momentarily, but in the long run wil drop to less that 1/10th of 1% of all crimes. Because criminals will be persecuted and detained in accordance with the law and not get that free pass from justice they currently get.
   Lets break some of the numbers down better, so back in 1979, when they must of said handgun ownership aided in the crime statistics and a law was needed to out law there easy use and access to. Plus yes registration of them. The main crime index for DC was 56,430 reported crimes, Now to see why homeowners where singled out, lets work with the stats for them only, so all others are the only `violent crimes' covered by the hype.
 
   In 1979, of the 56,430 indexed crimes in DC, Only 10,553 were classified as violent. Which when subtracted from the total, would now give us a total index of 45,877. But wait a moment I think I see a problem here, if Larceny theft and burglaries are not violent crimes as reported, their individual totals exceed the combined total for violent crimes, then they must be non-violent crimes. So that would give us 42,271, leaving 3, 606, or the number of Auto Thefts.
   And all others are violent crimes, right. In the number of car thefts, would car jacking be considered a non violent offense, when a child is abducted in the vehicle. Or the Owner of the vehicle being stolen was beaten near to death for it. What of the spouse, if he/she was involved. How can anyone generallize that sort of trearment as non violent.
   But back to what I saw as an error in the report. Burglary and robbery, as defined by the Webster dictionary are as follows,  Burglary= Noun, 1. Entering a building unlawfully with intent to commit a felony or to steal valuable property.: is a crime; related to theft. a felony, involves trespassing, or entering a building with intent to commit any crime, not necessarily a felony or theft. Burglary laws in some jurisdictions also encompass certain types of shoplifting. Robbery=Noun, 1. Larceny by threat of violence. 2. Plundering during riots or in wartime. Robbery is the crime of seizing property through violence or intimidation. This is different from embezzlement, larceny, and theft. Piracy is a type of robbery. Armed robbery involves the use of a weapon. Highway robbery takes place outside and in a public place. Robbery is generally an urban crime. Carjacking is the act of robbing a car from a victim, usually at gunpoint.   If these two words mean virtually the same thing, by what means did they authenticate the validity of their data in this index. None, as I can see.
   Now look at Larceny theft, and once again defined by Websters, Larceny= Noun, 1. The act of taking something from someone unlawfully; Larceny is a crime. Under English common law, larceny consisted of (1) a taking (2) and carrying away (3) of tangible personal property (4) of another (5) by trespass (6) with intent to permanently deprive. Larceny by Trick occurs when the victim of larceny is tricked by a misrepresentation of fact into giving up possession of property. This should not be confused with false pretenses, where the victim is tricked into giving up title to the property. Grand larceny is typically defined as larceny of a significant amount of property, in the US this is often defined as an amount valued at $200.00 or more. Auto theft is also included here. 
 
   By 2006 not one thing had changed, do the math and see for yourself. If anything it got worse and the Black city leaders want you to believe it is all because of handguns being owned by responsible citizens and not crooks. How stupid does that make you feel mister and misses Washingtonian. A bit miss used and abused. And by whom, those that lied to you and tell you white society wants you dead. We do not.
   So if your confused, do not be allarmed, because everyone else is also. Those criminal minded anti-gun lobbeyists, use terror and miss leading numbers to offend the intellect of the average citizen. Who was the only benefactor of the no gun in the home law. Crooks.
   They have been given free reign in committing robbery, theft, vandalism, murders, rapes, terrorizing and mayhem in all catagories of crime. It is time to end the cherrade this moment. Send those that commit the most crime back into the pits of hell from which they spawned.
   During the entire Mafia heyday of the twenties and thirties, not one law was ever enacted to ban the right to own a gun. In the Forties and early fifties the same. It was not untill we granted unconditionally the rights of free men on a ethnic society that still harbours tribal life over civilized life, that we began to see the requests and demands for gun control.
   Black leaders would like for us to think, every black man or person of colour is honest and educated. What a ton of hogwash that is. We peoples of colour know full well that there are eliments within our society and make up, that are of a violent nature and need to be restrained if not removed from this planets face.
   The most terrible thing about it is, they where able to convince their own kind that this was needed. All the while they murdered, raped and distroyed there families lives hopes and dreams. Being a criminal is not just a Black issue or a white issue or an Italian, Chinese or Japanese. It is a world problem, and how do we make the world safer for us. By retaking the laws back into our hands, ridding our society of these crooks and making Gun Ownership less of an issue than is your yard as neatly trimmed as your neighbors.

Global Warming Hypocrites

   From the title of Mike Gallagers column, we, well I thought I was going to find out something new.

   In light of all his giggles and inept remarks, Mr. Gallager added nothing to the story. GHG are those which, well you already know this and have your opinions about them.
   What was his stand, well I only got that he and the major corperations he represents do not want to clean up their act and reduce GHG emissions. But Why?
   Well I can only guess it must be profits, over humanity and morals.
   But aside from this point of conjecture, I found something else quite wierd in his remarks and listen very closely to both sides. Soon I realized that the `Accord' he was hammering as bad, was the Kyoto Accord. Which every major industriallized nation, except America, China and Russia have signed. This accord has more to deal with HFC emissions than CO2.
   HFC's and CFC's Florocarbon gases that distroy the ozone layer layers in the Earths Atmosphere. So what you say? Well with the ozone layer thinned, we get more skin cancer from exposure to it, the air becomes less humid and drier. More dessert like. Now Plants develope cancers just like we do. Soon leaf bearing trees and shrubbery die off. Less carbon is filtered out and it gets hotter.
   Big deal, plant more trees and bushes. Okay WHO? You and me, or industry. I for one say, I am tired of picking up the check for someone that only wants to pay me minimum wage for four years of College.
   He made the comment and so did many of you others, that China is the largest polluter of CO2 gas emissions. So what, and why is this a reason not to sign the accord. Well for starters, many of the companies in China are US and they make the gases CFC & HFC for use in air conditioning, process products manufactureing and areosal cans of hair spray, lacquer, paints and thousands of other products. It is a multy Billion Dollar industry that does not like being told they need to clean up.

Veterans and how Quick we forget them.

   In 1969, I received my letter of condolences from the President of the United States. I had been drafted into the Armed Services of the United States, like thousands of others before and after me. Exactly which branch of service I would serve in was yet unknown, for I had 90 days to change it all and become an enlistee instead of a draftee. Well I chose the US Army, its Corpse of Engineers as a Welder. I was already Naval certified and ASME Certified by my employer, so why not stick with it, right.
   Well I got into the Army, even the Corpse of Engineers, but as a bricklayer. Go figure the military, right! Well that was not the worse of it to come. In 1970 I was sent to Vietnam, spent the first 3 glorious months in a transit unit. For those that never served, this is where you go when you leave a unit and return to the states. Seems that more people where leaving Vietnam, than coming into it in 1970. After serving the rest of that year with a construction battalion in Dong Hao, I was sent home and while going through processing in Ft Lewis Washington, discovered I was going to Germany to serve the last 10 months 21 days I had to do in the Military. Oh NO, that was not for me, I was not going to get shanghide into a 24 month Tour of Duty Station by being extended. They still do that you know. So I extended myself and returned to Nam. Finally coming home in April 1972, having survived several mortar attacks, two gun battles and 1 saper attack that sent my bunk through the wall of our barracks by several feet and tossed me outside as well. Two rounds of treatment for the same STD, and a fear of going to sleep.
   I was diagnosed finally in 1980 with PTSD, after first being found to have Hypertension in 1977, drank way to much than needed, no kidding, it was easiest way to get some sleep. Just pass out, plot, boom forget your alive for two to three hours. That was the same year they found a suspicious hole or gap in my lower spine. L-4 to L6. Was this compensatable, no we don't know what it is and you where born with it. WHAT?.
   I did not file a claim for my PTSD, because the Social Worker said he did it for me. So I file for the Hypertension and this hole in my back. Guess what the VA wants to know and responds about.
   Where did you suffer the trauma for your PTSD. What major battles did you fight in, what awards did you recieve, what citations for service action did you recieve. My response, you have my records look it up. Claim denied, but if you have any pertanent information you may send it in and we will reconsider our actions. What sort of BS is this. VA BS is what it is. As for the other two claims, nada zippo not a word, except my hypertension is family related and hereditary. WHAT IS THIS BS AGAIN.
   I have been conducting a 28 year war with the VA, submitting any and every bit of information I can find about the link of Hypertension to PTSD, my back to going through that wall and being tossed out of the building. As why I should have been awarded disablity for my Hypertension due to the PTSD. Response has always been, `We all ready have this information and it is not new! WHAT, AGAIN?
   In 2000, I was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease, cause, prolonged mistreatment for Hypertension. I began anew to fight for what is or should be rightfully mine, recognition for a service incurred ailment. NO.
   In 2001, I break a heel from a fall, two months later I am admitted to the hospital for an apparent stroke. No stroke, but symptons subside enough to send me home. The next weekend I am back in the ER, same symptoms, same tests and after a weekend of bed rest same results and sent home. This happens again but they do not keep me. I am sent home with not knowing what is wrong with me. In less than 1 month I am not able to chew food, drink liquids and have to turn my head completely over onto my shoulder to see one object. I am scared and ready to explode.
   In late November of 2001, I see an Ophthalmogist because I am nearly cross eyed now from the double vission. In 15 minutes I am diagnosed and in the hospital recieving treatment for a rare neurological disorder known as Myasthenia Gravis. It affects the head, eyes nose, throat and lung muscles. It can spread to other organs if left untreated, leading to death. 1in 100,000 people can get it, it is a live virus that lives in the person and can spring forth at any time. Mainly from a fracture or break in the bone. It is also connected to Yellow Fever Vaccine and the AMA, CDC as well the VA and Military Medical Communitee, who by the way has the worlds largest case studies on the disease ever compiled.
   I go to my VA rep and file once more for disablity compensation, for this and the others. In 2003 I am given Social Security for Disablity from MG, PTSD, CHF(Congestive heart failure=CHD)and my back which is now racked with gapps from C3-C5 and in T3-T6 as well as the original L3-L5. Can anyone guess what the VA said. CLAIMS DENIED, too old of claim, not within one year of discharge, Birth defects are not covered and Hypertension is hereditary.
   In 2006 I recieved an award finally for PTSD, at 10%, yes 10%, but I would have gotten more, like 30% if I was not working! WHAT IN H-E-L-L DO I HAVE TO DO, DIE! What is it about the VA that makes it so easily for wounded vets to recieve compensation and for others not or none.
   I think it is inbread hostilities towards those that are not maimed in battle, as if we did not as noblely serve our nation. Like the so called `coward' in the movie `Patton'. Shell shock is a cowards way out! I did not want out, I served and did my duty. I came home alive, but not well. My first marriage ended in divorce because she said I hit her while I was sleeping and cursed at her in a strange language. That I was a drunk, who drank to much for her religous beliefs to handle, and the accident I had 14 days after coming home, left me unable to ever work. My second is torn and battered, but still together after 33 years of night swings and hits to the head. Week end drunks that lasted until Tuesday, and the lost jobs because of it. Or the jail time. But this was not good enough for the VA.
   When I informed them that out of the approximate 3.5 million servicemen and women who served in Vietnam from 1963-75, they had over 180 claims for disablity filed between 1993-date for MG, they where astounded. For according to theirs and the AMA's statistics only 35-36 personnel would have been affected by Myasthenia Gravis. But still they claim the one year rule applies and it was not new information. Yes, it is not new and you would havve a rule like this, if you knew ahead of time that it is a disease your men will catch and you do not want to pay them for it.
   Our service people in Iraq, have been recieving medication for the prevention of MG, in taking Mestinon tablets or capsules. i currently take 560 mg of Mestinon and 200 mg of a immune suppressant medication to hault the effects of my MG. I have no defense against the flu or a cold or pneumonia, or any other contagious disease. Why should I not be compensated for my disease and some guy, who does not watch his weight, or diet or type of food intake and is 1 in 6 of all Americans born with Diabetis, being given the maximum ammount for a hereditary disease.
   Well enough about me and my claims. Who out there has ever been over paid by the government, `AFTER YOU CALLED AND WROTE TO THEM NOT TO PAY YOU ANYMORE!' Well, it has happened to more veterans than most of you know about. In some cases the Veteran is able to explain the error and is granted a repreve because they can not repay the debt. Others just repay it and shrug their shoulders, a few have even repaid it in full because they saved that money and knew the day would come and they would have to pay it back.
   But why should they have to repay a debt, created by the VA because they did not do as asked of them and is only pure benefit to them and their department. One fellow, on NSC disability, called the VA the day he recieved his award letter from SS for disability and asked them to stop paying him at the end of that month  so he would not have an overpayment. He apparently had this problem before and chose not to do it again.
   Well he is then told by the VA Pension Center, to put the request in writing and attach a copy of his award letter from SS showing them exactly when his SSD `HAD' actually began. Is this not calling the messanger a liar or what? Well he did as told and guess what, he kept on getting checks, even after he called a second time. Still for five more months he recieved checks. Then he got a letter demanding he repay it immediately, he could pay by CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR CREDIT CARD! When he went to explain his problem, he only recieved more letters of pay it or we will contact the SS Admin. and take it out of your checks, which they did for 3.5 months. Just explain to me how this is right.
   Dealing with the VA is worse than being in combat, they are suppose to be on our side and they contrive to make matters worse than better. And why, because they have no one to atone too for it. Big deal if we kill you by starvation or place you into rehab or a hospital or nursing home. You cannot sue us because we are the government. Has anyone ever asked the IQ level of a VA worker. Most are under educated poor, whites and blacks, dependants of service lifers that wanted their children, about as much as they want the mother of them.
Many more are from the ghettos of society, ill bred, ill raised and barely able to put a sentence together.
   I have watched these clerks gab for hours as Veterans and Medical personnel wait and wait for them to be done chattering to their `girl friend'. In the real world they would not have made it to the first break time.
   The VA administrators and boards aggrevate the doctors medical techs and nurses who treat these brave men and women for the ailments they have, by not doing what is right for them. I have witnessed three, yes three physcologist quit because the VA mistreated the diagnosis they rendered, the veteran and then them.
   This may be why doctors and health care providers are leaving the services and the VA in massive droves. Not because of dollars but because of poor treatment and the lack of careing for those that kept them free from harm.

Gay Marriages and the rest of US

   Why should Gay Marriages be so much trouble for hetro-sexual?

   They say that to be imitated is the best form of flattery. Then why is it the hetro-sexual world is so adamant about not allowing Gays and Lesbians the same right to marital bliss or discord as the rest of us. Is it jealousy, or hatred. Is it moral or immorality that plays on peoples minds.
   Such an uproar over a minority segment of the population getting the right to marry, takes me back to my youth when civil rights marchers where being hung and burned in Mississippi. Buses where segregated and so where the lunch counters, mostly notably in the South but not so evident here in the North. Here we hid our disdain for certain peoples of dark colour, not all just certain peoples.
 
    As a youth of 12, I would go off on a Saturday morning and play with friends, wiffel baseball, war and hide-n-seek.  We all being white church going Christians, never thought once about racial problems and certainly not about `homosexuals'  Homo was that funny sounding science name for early man, you remember Homos-erectas. Well being young boys of 12, you all can guess the funny pun.
   It was not until I reached 13, that I came into contact with a `homo'. To a great surprise it was someone I had grown up with, another in our group of  neighborhood hellion's as my dad would call us. Had revealed his like for the male anatomy, mine, while during a backyard sleep out that summer. I reacted as any one would, I beat him silly. That was wrong, I soon realized and know it ever more so today.
   I naturally told my dad about him and my dad said something profainly strange that day. Go apologise to him and just tell him your not that way. Hugh? What way. Wait a minute he did this to me and I have to apologise? Something in my dad had flipped I thought, but being a good son. I appologised to my friend and we talked for a long time about what happened.
   I realized just how much currage it took him to approach me, and why. He thought I could protect him from getting hurt by the others if they knew and he liked me alot. As a youth I was the kid most likely to be imprisoned by 9. If you where bigger or older than me. We were fated to cross pathes and have at it. Why I did not understand then, but do today. I am tall, fair haired and German. Worked for my dad at his company, the neighbors and on my Uncles farm. I was rugged and quick, both in temper and with the hands.
 
   Today I have nearly as many gay friends as I do heteral-sexuals, and I preach the Lords word to others, that they who sin should be brought to hear his words and save their souls. I do not condoan their choice but neither do I condemn them. It is their life style not mine nor is it a threat to my childrens. But maybe to my grandchildren, there is a threat from allowing this promiscuity to persist as a non controlled status.
   With marrage comes responsablity and commitments to morality. And with that said, a civil marriage is no different from a church, yet so many heterosexuals marriages and participants stray from the moral richeousness that is asked of them. We have adultry, incest and poligamy within these so called normal marriages that it makes ones head hurt. But there is also the ever rapid rise of pedophilia by both men and women. Against youngsters of both sex and by those of same sex. Why? Is it just Gays and Lesbians, or our society?
 
   I think the later is more to blame than the afore mentioned. Because their confussion comes from us, yes us, in how we treat people and dress them. How we percieve them, and controll them,  bully them and malign them. we continue to foster there need for an idenity.
   Society loves to blame everthing else for its misery, it is like the DUI driver that kills three innocents, not his fault he only had a beer and it is his right to drink. Or the wife beater that breaks his spouses face, because she made him do it and the best one I like, we just sell it we don't make them wear it. How dumb is that. We see it on the TV, in adds on the highwat billboards. In magazines they dress 6 year olds like their in college and put lipstick on them. Junior junior Miss What ever and we think knothing of its sexual innuendos.

Christian Vs Christian Beliefs

   `†' Every Christian recognizes that symbol, It is the Cross upon which Jesus Christ Our Lord, was sacrificed for all of our sins, in who so ever believes in him. In MS Script it is the dagger, and used to symbolize death and eternity. Sort of like being a Christian of the wrong side in politics.

   In a brief reading of another blog sight, http://aurorawatcher.blogtownhall.com/2008/06/14/sbc_position_on_tri-unity_of_god.thtml, I read how a Southern Baptist dismissed the belief of the Holy Trinity buy one Christian Group as wrong and imposed her own interpertation of it as factual.

   I know I will really stir up a couldron of mess here, but the Trinity is the Holy of Holies in the communal link of our belief in the One God the Father, His only and Begotten Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. The three are revered as one entity by many Christians and as three distinct entities by others.
   However you believe in them, the fact that you do, makes you a Christian in my book and I'll bet anyone Dollars to Donuts so does it in Gods. For He asks of us to believe in him, and all things that are of his creation. For those of us who are not of the Jewish Faith or peoples, he has asked this only once of us, he has asked his chosen peoples now twice and look at all the hassels they go through.
   So too chastize a fellow Christian, for how they connect the Trinity of Faith is like saying, your no Christian because you go to the wrong Churh, or do not wear the proper shoes, or vote the wrong political party. And it was with this insight I believe, that challenge our forefathers and lead them to discern that Religion and how one believed should ever be allowed in our Government.
   Sure we took many of the basic laws of Christianity and the Ten Commandments as a guide for our own laws. But so did the English Court System, which we having been once subjects too, did so also obide by and thus modeled our own court system after and applied its Cannon of Basic Laws.
   With that take a look, it works well and will I pray for a very long time to come. So the next time someone tells you that the Christian Majority or the Christian Believers want this done as a moral issue, and you do not favor it or want it imposed. Ask them, which Christians do you speak of, for I am a Christian and I do not want it.
   So aurorawatcher, let those that believe in him do so, without critiscism.
