'Where have the Ameican's Gone;'

The other day I heard a very familiar song from the past, my youthful past and the days of the Vietnam War, 'Where have all the Young Men Gone', and it got me to reflecting upon what is happening today, here in America, the land of Once freedoms for All, The land of We the People, now turned into we the selected few.

I see the irony in the song and the parrallel conjecture it draws for us.

For where has all the freedoms gone, fought for long ago. Written boldly on Parchment for the Entire World to see and admire.

Where has all the equal opportunities gone, given to the boughten few, who today serve their masters as they did when they where Slaves. Always looking for that free hand out that free gift of wealth, prosperity and employment. Never having to strive for it, never having to achieve worth, intellect or pride in what they accomplish.

Where have all our youngmen gone, off to war that is then undo. Where have all our beautiful women gone, Off to sin in vice and greed, being daily fed that this is all they need. That it is what should be, to mix with those who only see them as toys to be abused and defilled with glee.

Where has gone our virtues of right and wrong; Tossed beneath the wheels of corruption and greed, ground so deep they may never take seed.

Where has Lady Liberty been sent, off to some damned internment camp, by those we invited to join us in the great plan. Only now they renounce how great we where, because they wish to be like their once so oppressive cures.

So I ask you all today, Where has America Gone, Far from Peace and Freedoms Warmth, Down a road we left alone, Not so very Long Ago.

Where have All The Good men gone, Long long times ago, off to better Slumber Sake, Now we stand Alone.
